Since I was happy with my own diet I would use it as a reference point whenever anyone asked for some advice, but what I found was the foods I would eat to make me feel well didn’t always have the same effect on other people. This was very frustrating, after all if it worked for me why didn’t it work for everyone else?
Eventually I came across a book called 'The Metabolic Typing Diet' by William Wolcott & Trish Fahey. They wrote about how everybody’s diet needed to be unique to them, that no two peoples nutritional requirements were the same. This explained why my own diet didn’t always have the desired results when someone else would follow it.
As I looked further into it I discovered that there was an organization called Health Excel that trained nutritionists to become metabolic typing advisers, like myself. Everything I read on the subject answered all the questions I came across when advising people on their diets.
